Set the network mode to 802.11 Ad Hoc and the SSID to Any. Make sure the channel is set to 11, then press the Apply. The pda will now start scanning for an Ad Hoc connection.
Press the Status button to check the connection. If it's successful, you should see "Any" in the "Connected To" field.

 |
Scroll right and press the AP Browser tab. The AP Browser screen will show the current connections available and the signal strength.
You can test the connection by pinging your computer from your pda.
Scroll left and select the Ping tab. You will need to enter your computer's IP address in host field. To find your computer's IP address, either check your Network Adapter settings in the control panel or
simply open a DOS or command window, type ipconfig, and hit enter. Hit the start button on the Ping screen and watch for the reply.
