Enabling the Navigator Button
|
|
The navigator button is the large button centered in bottom part of the front face of the Axim. The button is an eight
way rocker type which is used for moving the cursor in most applications and menus. It is also one of the primary input for most
games.
There is actually an additional action for this button. Pressing the Navigator button directly (into the plane of the pda) can be
used to perform the same behavior as the enter or action key, such as opening applications. This is also the same action
triggered by pressing the left-hand side jog dial directly in towards the pda.
Early models of the Axim shipped without the Navigator button enter function enabled, but Dell added it in a ROM update.

Entering Owner Information
|
|
The owner information screen gives the user a place to input standard contact info: name, company, address, telephone, and email.
By clicking the Show information checkbox, the user information will be displayed in a splash screen whenever the pda is
powered on.
Besides the identification screen, there is a notes screen for adding additional information. If the Show information checkbox
is selected, then the notes entered will appear on the My Info splash screen when the pda is turned on.
